I recently read an article on Nokiamob discussing AI dealers in live gaming. https://nokiamob.net/2025/06/11/ai-dealers-can-bots-replace-human-interaction-in-live-gaming/ While the idea of 24/7 availability and cost savings is appealing, I have reservations. Human dealers bring a unique emotional connection to the game, offering encouragement and shared experiences that AI can't replicate. The article also highlights the "uncanny valley" effect, where overly realistic AI can feel unsettling. Additionally, cultural differences play a role; in collectivist societies, the social aspect of gaming is vital. I believe a hybrid approach, combining AI efficiency with human interaction, might be the best solution.

A hybrid model could work best—AI for efficiency, humans for social connection—balancing gameplay speed with the real casino atmosphere.
