4-day rigger, signalperson qualification
Service Description
Our 4-day training program is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to become qualified riggers and signal persons in the construction industry. Participants will work with live cranes and learn how to safely rig, hook, and unhook loads when working with cranes. The program includes both classroom instruction and practical exercises to ensure that participants have a well-rounded education in rigging operations. Upon completion of the program, participants will be eligible to take the certification examination and receive a Qualified Rigger certification, validating their ability to safely and effectively work with cranes and rigging equipment. This 24-hour full qualified rigger training class is designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a qualified competent rigger. As per OSHA regulations, all rigging operations must be carried out under the supervision of a Qualified Rigger, and all rigging equipment and gear must be inspected before use by a qualified rigger. This comprehensive class covers all aspects of rigging operations, including load calculation, job setup, gear inspection, and equipment selection. Students will engage in both classroom and field exercises to ensure a well-rounded education. To become certified, students must pass both a nationally accredited written and practical examination with a minimum score of 70%. Training does not cover examination fees.
