About the Class
This comprehensive OSHA compliant Train the Trainer course equips individuals to become authorized trainers capable of conducting in-depth forklift operator training, evaluation, and certification sessions tailored to designated employees' roles in operating standard motor rider forklifts and various forklift class types. Participants will focus on job-specific tasks within their operational scope while adhering meticulously to established company safety protocols and OSHA 1910.178 industry regulations. The course provides comprehensive training materials, including a 50+ page certification package, evaluation and test copies for different forklift class types, carrying cards for identification within the company or department, and certifications specific to their employment. The employer retains final authority to approve certifications and permits for forklift operations.

This includes maintaining load control, increasing production efficiency, and preventing unnecessary incidents that could cause delays, damage to products or facilities, and avoidable personnel injuries or fatalities

This specialized on-site program covers a wide range of forklift operations, including pre-operation inspections, safe handling techniques, load management, and precise maneuvering, across various forklift class types: Electric Motor Rider (Class 1), Narrow Aisle Forklifts (Codes 2, 3, 6 - Class 2), Hand Truck Type Forklifts (Class 3), Cushion Tire Motor Rider Forklifts (Class 4), and Pneumatic Tire Motor Rider Forklifts (Large Capacity - Class 5). Through a blend of classroom instruction and practical hands-on training emphasizing real-world scenarios, participants will undergo written examinations and practical assessments. Successful completion of both components results in a three-year forklift operator certification, obtainable on the same day as the training session.
